A recent mistype activated emacs tabs on my screen. Once I found out what was going on, I was intrigued. Now, I don't think they provide anything that I need on top of my normal buffer management habits, but I don't want to dismiss anything the emacs core folks thought was good to include in a recent update. Do any of you use tab-bar-mode? What does it do for you?

   submitted by /u/WorldsEndless
[link] [comments]

Hey Community. I'm new to Arch and encountered the following problem today after removing Brave-Browser from my system (didnt like it after testing):

I can log into my PC as usual. My root-pw is the same as my account-pw. However I can't use sudo in any console. People mentioned that, in the past, PAM was the problem. But I can't upgrade it without using sudo. Actually I can't do anything without sudo. The faillock is not the problem (except after failing 3 times but I know how to reset it).

Does anyone have an idea? My system was set up and updated yesterday and it worked before removing brave today.

   submitted by /u/OriginalJohann
[link] [comments]
