So I am running the Awesome window manager and I use lxappearance app to change my GTK themes. However I noticed that, except for Lxappearance itself, I have to exit and restart other GTK apps to get them to use any new theme I select. This is not issue with DEs like Xfce. So I am wondering what I missing to get this minor functionality while using a standalone WM?

   submitted by /u/anonymous-bot
[link] [comments]

How are u guys? I have a problem with my bluetooth headset... It started with missing connection and then I reinstalled pipewire, and now it connects fine but is not listed as an output device. May someone help me?

I am little bit noob with arch, so I dont know which commands use in terminal to make a more detailed post. Be confident to suggest what commands use to make more detail my error.

My headset is the sony xm1000xm4, I use pipewire because with pulseaudio worked bad and with pipewire works perfect until 2 or 3 days ago.

Another detail I can give is the touchpad controls of my headset WORKS so I think its a problem from pipewire-media-session and not pipewire package.

I use gnome, I don`t know if that means something

   submitted by /u/CristianArean
[link] [comments]

When I use counsel-rg, I get results back that reflect searching files on my filesystem that do not reflect changes made to open buffers. So if I search for something, I'll get results back that might be in the wrong position, or referring to lines I may have deleted, etc.

Is there any way I can customize any project-wide swiper search like counsel-rg to search all files in a project, but prioritize open buffers over persistent files? Preferably without using projectile.

   submitted by /u/PreferredBadger672
[link] [comments]
