Hi,

I just recently discovered the great foot terminal emulator [1]. It can render also bitmap fonts and does it very well. Because I stare at the terminal like 80% of the time I very much appreciate sharp fonts. E.g. JetBrains Mono is very nice but right now I'm using Terminus bitmap font and it's (of course as a bitmap font) even sharper. But...

What are some other good bitmap fonts for terminals? With bigger sizes, I mean equivalent of, say, "Font size 10-12" in Gnome. I've found many of them but a vast majority is super tiny.

[1] https://codeberg.org/dnkl/foot

   submitted by /u/Original_Two9716
[link] [comments]

I've been using Emacs for quite some time, but recently I wanted to try a more "modern" app just to see how it goes. I went with Notion, and what an great app. I got some ideas and thoughts like "that would be cool to have in Emacs". So how is your note taking workflow and what do you do to make Emacs feel less 80s ( UI packages and general functionalities)?

   submitted by /u/Hastrack
[link] [comments]
