I'm using
org-roam
for taking most of my notes and I'm very happy with it. I heavily rely on tags to organize the notes and a feature that I wasn't able to find in
org-roam
is the possibility to have a list of all the tags I created, so that I can select a tag from this list and obtain a list of files with that tag. I know I can use
org-roam-node-find
, type the name of a tag and filter the files with that tag. However, given the large amount of tags I'm using, it's very hard to memorize all of them and I don't always know the exact name of the tag I'm looking for. Therefore, having a complete list with all the tags would be very helpful for me. Do you know if there's a way of having this feature in
org-roam
?

   submitted by /u/HariSeldon11
[link] [comments]

Hello all,

I just discovered this sub, and have no Emacs experience. I hope my question makes sense.

I regularly use remote Debian machines at work, interacting exclusively via SSH sessions. I was curious about using Emacspeak on them, as I’m visually impaired. Everything I’m reading is about setting up Emacspeak locally, though. I’ve found mention of a remote speech server, but haven’t found any guides on exactly how to get it to work. I use Windows as my primary OS at work.

In summary, my usual workflow is: on Windows, SSH into Debian, and use a Windows screen reader to interact with the remote machine that way. If I can, I’d like to have Emacspeak running on the remote machine, with speech and sound output coming from my local Windows computer. The lag may make this unusable, I don’t know. I’d at least like to give it a shot, just to see what happens. Again, I’ve also never used Emacs in any way. I’m comfortable in Bash, though. Thanks for any suggestions.

   submitted by /u/mehgcap
[link] [comments]

Hello all!

I cut a new release in Code Review including basic Gitlab support, a table with feature parity between Github and Gitlab is available here. I am not a Gitlab user myself therefore I appreciate all the feedback from actual users on how we can improve this going forward.

This first week I received good feedbacks on features and was able to deliver some bug fixes, thanks for all the reporters.

More details in the CHANGELOG.

Next, bitbucket...

   submitted by /u/bartuka
[link] [comments]
