Megyn Kelly is joined by Lindsey Graham, a small business owner dealing with COVID lockdowns and restrictions in Oregon. She talks about the way she fought back against the regulations and the way the government came after her, but also talks about how she wound up at the Capitol on 1/6 believing she was part of a "holy war," what she saw that day of the riots, the media sources Graham and other Trump supporters she knew would turn to, what she thinks now after Trump was not able to pull out a victory and Biden was inaugurated, fraud claims and the Trump election lawsuits, what made her believe "conspiracy theories," and what she thinks is the future of Trump and the GOP.

Graham's personal website: https://PatriotBarbie.com/

Follow The Megyn Kelly Show on all social platforms:

Twitter: http://Twitter.com/MegynKellyShow

Instagram: http://Instagram.com/MegynKellyShow

Facebook: http://Facebook.com/MegynKellyShow

Find out more information at:

https://www.devilmaycaremedia.com/megynkellyshow

Emacs Updates For those of you interested in Emacs, I've checked out a few of the annual Emacs conferences and they're usually pretty good.
Lots of interesting speakers with typically new Emacs related perspectives.
See poster below for details.
Here's a link to the conference page: https://emacsconf.org/2021/
The organizer's are: Amin Bandali, Leo Vivier, and Sacha Chua.
If you want to keep up everything in the Emacs world, I recommend following Sacha Chua's Blog.

Welcome to episode 13 of DLN Xtend. In the weekly update segment, Nate fixes his robot vacuum. Eric talks about his latest YouTube videos, including video trimming tools and a new episode the LibreOffice Calc series with Serge.

Our community focus this week is a topic from the Destination Linux Network Discourse forum about laptop brands that support Linux.

Nate and Eric discuss wanting a Linux-based tablet.

DLN recently held our second game night.

Destination Linux discussed Linux User Groups (LUGs) and we discuss what it takes to get started.

Destination Linux also interviewed Hayden Barnes of Canonical's WSL team. The DL crew asked some tough questions and we go into how Hayden seems to have swayed their opinions on Microsoft's recent "love" for Linux.

And last for this week, Jason Evangehlo of Linux for Everyone, Jason interviewed Dustin Krysak of Ubuntu Budgie and we discuss the nature for FOSS and how we can be appreciative and give back.

That's all for this week. Be sure to stop by DLN's Discourse, Telegram, Mumble and Discord servers to continue the discussion. More information about this show and other Destination Linux Network shows and creators (like Eric and Nate for example) is available at destinationlinux.network.

Until next time, see yas!

Crispin points out that in modern academia, it is often assumed that Christ didnt
consider himself divine. Instead, academics consider that Christs divinity was
later imposed on him by the early church.
Crispin points to some weaknesses in this argument and offers some refreshing
critiques.
Included in his points are:
• The high priest is a new Adam.
• The high priest as “Gods image” is tied to the idea of the temple as a
microcosm.
• The high priest is, in a sense, “Israel.”
• Because the high priest is a representative of Israel, he is also a royal figure,
because one of the tribes of Israel is the royal line (the tribe of Judah).
• The high priest is an office, not a person.
About Dr. Fletcher-Louis:
Dr. Crispin Fletcher-Louis is a biblical scholar and teacher. He studied at Keble
College, Oxford as an undergraduate when E.P. Sanders and N.T. Wright were
University lecturers, and for his doctorate, under Chris Rowland (on angelology in
Lukes Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles). He then taught in the Theology and
Religious Studies departments of Kings College, London, Durham University, and
Nottingham University. From 20042006 he served as Resident Theologian at St
Marys Bryanston Sq., a thriving church in Central London. With growing demand
for deeper theological teaching across the region, in 2006 he spearheaded the
creation of Westminster Theological Centre (WTC).
In July 2012 Crispin stepped down as Principal of WTC and is now engaged in
research, writing, and the development of new teaching material. He continues to
provide informal teaching to local churches and consultancy to businesses
interested in the optimization of material and spiritual value creation. His research
and teaching focuses on the overarching shape of the biblical story (its key
themes and theological questions). In particular, he writes about the nature of our
human identity and purpose, temple worship and spirituality, apocalyptic and
Jewish mysticism, Jesus identity (Christology) and the Gospel accounts of his life.
Crispin is currently engaged in a four-volume book writing project on Jesus and
the origins of the earliest beliefs about him (Jesus Monotheism). The first volume
(Jesus Monotheism. Volume 1. Christological Origins: The Emerging Consensus
and Beyond) (hard copy: Eugene, Or: Wipf & Stock; digital copy: Whymanity)
appeared in 2015.

There is a blog dedicated to the Jesus Monotheism project. For more on
Crispins academic work you can visit his webpage at academia.edu.
Crispin is married to Mary and has two children, Emily and Reuben.

During the last months, me and my girlfriend moved our note taking, planning etc. from TiddlyWiki to Emacs OrgMode and so far we both like it. But there is one big thing I'm missing: "dynamic aggregation".

In TiddlyWiki I can automatically query and format many information throughout the Wiki. Easy tasks like displaying a table of all D&D sessions is achievable with the column mode, but how about more complex aggregations? For my studies, I created tiddlers for every subject including information for CP, semester, and category. In my overview, each semester is listed as separate heading with the subjects being displayed by category as description lists and the CP summed up for each category. Please refer to the screenshot.

https://preview.redd.it/mqplroq099881.png?width=526&format=png&auto=webp&s=60ee21d430e1b32611ad1963569c9d58c645b882

In TiddlyWiki I can use filter expressions to select any tiddler (entry) from the wiki and extract data from it. This data can be transformed into arbitrary HTML, which is rendered when the article is visited. This query and transformation is done in the Wiki's own syntax, which is a part of the reason I wanted to switch to Emacs.

How would I recreate this in OrgMode? I'm okay with having all information in one file and don't mind to learn elisp. What I would like to have is the information to be displayed inline (not in another buffer) and being able to use all or most of org Mode's usual formatting options.

Results:

It seems like the rendering part of my desired solution is already included in org babel. When using a code block with
:results raw
I can output any content which is then regularly parsed as org content. This has the additional advantage that I can just use any language integrated with babel, and thus can use any code I have lying around. A small problem is, that each execution of the block adds the output again and the
replace
directive does not work as org cannot determine which part of the output was created by the block. As a make-shift solution, I added a second block with elisp code that searches for the created output by an ID and kills it.

Querying the information is now the remaining problem, but you gave me a few interesting options which I will look into.

Edits:

I added the missing screenshot, thanks to u/qZeta for pointing this out.

Added first results

And typos, always typos

   submitted by /u/neunzehnhundert97
[link] [comments]
