Hi All,

I recently switched from windows to linux and would really like to get my 2nd display (USB-C portable monitor from T-bao).

Used to work with windows but can't get it to work on Manjaro.

The laptop is a Lenovo 320s with 8th gen i5 and UHD 620 Graphics. The connection is via USB 3.1 GEN 1 type C port on the laptop to the USB C port on the monitor. It lights up, so there's power - but it says no signal.

I tried following steps on https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/DisplayLink, have done everyting until:

$ xrandr --listproviders

Where I only get 1 provider, so there's nothing to connect:

Provider 0: id: 0x43 cap: 0xf, Source Output, Sink Output, Source Offload, Sink Offload crtcs: 3 outputs: 2 associated providers: 0 name:modesetting

Can someone advise me on this? I'm sorry if this has a simple fix, I've been googling for the past 2 days and only ended up with solutions that made me re-install the system as it wouldn't boot.

I'm currently studying coding and I would really like to get this to work.

Thanks
