In this video, we'll learn about straight.el, an alternative to Emacs' built in package manager package.el. straight.el takes inspiration from functional package managers like Nix and Guix to bring similar capabilities to Emacs package management! I'll show you how to set up straight.el and use its primary functionality. We'll then convert the Emacs From Scratch configuration to use it!
