Hi /r/orgmode

With Org 9.5, we've got this amazing new citation setup. (See https://blog.tecosaur.com/tmio/2021-10-31-release.html for a great overview.)

While my setup previously relied on org-ref for both managing .bib files and fixing LaTeX exporting, I feel like I should upgrade my configuration. I'm thinking of moving away from org-ref because the package always felt a bit too heavy (e.g. relying on helm).

So I'm looking for inspiration. What do your setups look like? Which packages should I look into?
