Hi, I want to use arch and xmonad for my next pc. No problem for that or the config of that.

My question is about the "software", what I need to install for having a good workstation in term of security/usuabilty ? I come from fedora/KDE.

For example in kde I have KWallet, it's a good think to have a password manager ?

I plan to install :

- xorg (xorg-server)

- xmonad (xmonad xmonad-contrib)

- xmobar (xmobar)

- network manager (nmcli)

- bluetooth (bluez-utils)

- wallpaper (nitrogen)

- rofi if compatyble with xmonad

- notification (dunst) is ok or something better exist ?

- compositor (picom)

- console (konsole or alacritty)

- text editor (like vim or nano)

- audio (alsa and pulseaudio ?)

- firewall (firewalld)

- lock screen (betterlockscreen)

- bluetooth and wifi painless (rofi-bluetooth, rofi-wifi-menu)

I need to work with :

- I make lot of call with google meet or slack or teams so I need a mic, is alsa sufficient ?

- phpstorm (need specific package ?)

- sometime I need to plug my pc in a tv for presentation is xorg sufficient ?

Thanks.
