I love org-mode, but there is one thing I have always wondered: why are the default keybinds so weird? org-do-promote and its friends are by default all bound to something plus an arrow key, which completely breaks your workflow as your hand leaves the home row. I use these commands quite often, and if I had not rebound them, they would be literally the only reason I ever hit the arrow keys.

Is there a rationale behind this?
