I would like to temporarily insert the expanded snippet template in place because it would be easier for me to choose the snippet I want by seeing what it does.

Maybe this is possible already because I think I saw that in an EmacsConf talk and there is an ivy extension for it https://github.com/mkcms/ivy-yasnippet

Any chance somebody knows how to set that up?
