I currently have to read a library source code for some project that I'm working on, so far I'm very grateful for git-timemachine, magit (magit-blame mostly) and LSP. However, I sometimes find myself wanting to do some other stuff like tracking a function for example and then go back to where I was in the same buffer, there's probably some Emacs keybinding for that which I am not aware of.

So do you guys know how to do this ? also if you have any tips or packages that are useful for source code reading on Emacs I would be very grateful.
