<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I upgraded from a GTX 1070 to an RX 6700 XT but I am a content creator and I recently started streaming so living without Nvenc is painful. When I stream, I have to limit my fps to something way lower than what the 6700 XT can output in order for my stream to not lag horribly so I was wondering if I could use the old GTX 1070 for everything OBS and be able to use the 6700 XT solely for running the game. Before you say it, I know it's more sane to just use a 2 PC setup and I do have the parts to build a decent second PC(basically my old i7 5820k, 16 GB of ram, x99 motherboard, and GTX 1070) but I do not have the space for a second PC in the room I'm renting, so it would be nice if I can just plug the 1070 in the free PCI-e slot on my motherboard and use it to encode using nvenc and a have good looking stream that doesn't lag.</p> <p>I have no idea of what I'm trying to do is possible but, for obvious reasons, I don't have the option to just go and buy an RTX 30 series card, so this is my only hope of getting a decent streaming experience.
