I.e. its a compiler that is bootstrapped and because it wasn&#39;t open source when it reached the bootstrapping stage, I see no plausible way of getting the release chain to work.</p> <p>Edit: I now got replies from people afraid to comment on my post because they are afraid of advertising for non-free software.
