<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Hi,<br/> I made my Arch install using EFI/BIOS (legacy or whatever) on my Thinkpad X230. I would like to have a custom bootup screen and have been informed that it is possible to do that with UEFI. How can I convert my system over to UEFI, are there any drawbacks ? Any risks ?</p> <p>Thanks !</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> &#32; submitted by &#32; <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/JSV007"> /u/JSV007 </a> <br/> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/rukzcr/howshould_i_switch_my_system_over_to_uefi/">[link]</a></span> &#32; <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/rukzcr/howshould_i_switch_my_system_over_to_uefi/">[comments]</a></span>
