- TFC will be structured a little differently this year! As I'm sure you've noticied junior high will be at the Long Island Methodist Church at 5:15 and high school will be at the Almena Methodist Church at 6:30. Being separate we'll have snacks provided for the junior high and a meal provided for the high school!

- Next week you can meet us at each church and we'll get a picture of what a normal night of TFC looks like!

- If you haven't please fill out one of our info forms! You can do it by scanning this qr code or you can do it by filling one of these paper forms out and handing it back.

** Game - Annie Annie Over or Cutthroat Mafia - Chris
|
|
Annie Annie Over is kind of like a combination of football and the last man standing. But we need a house to do it! So, here is how it works. We'll split you up into two teams and give one team the football. Each team will go to a different side of the house opposite each other. The team with the football will pick someone to throw it over to the other side. When the football gets over there, the other team will grab the football and must run over to the other side trying to tag as many of the first teams players with the football. So if the football touches you in any way, you are now on the other team. To be safe from getting tagged, you have to get to the other side of the house without getting tagged. There is no limit on players that can be tagged each round. Now with new players on your team, you have to throw it back to the other team.

Hey guys hopefully you've been getting into the swing of things with school starting back up! And hopefully you've been able to keep up with our bible reading plan! We should be around the book of Numbers but if you've made it most of the way through Exodus we are doing pretty good! This year for TFC we've got a new location and slightly different structure and time. The plan is to do a high school only TFC at the United Methodist Church in Almena at 6:30, that's the old brick church south 1 block of the school. Since we are meeting later though, my hope is that you'll all feel very comfortable to come over right after practice anyway and work on homework or help setup for the meal!

* LESSON

|
First lesson is gonna help us to unpack more about WHO we are as humans! It's all about discovering more about us through the lens of God. AW Tozer a very wise theologian said that the most important thing about us is what we think about God, but I'd argue that even more important is what God says about us. That's the most important thing. God has ideas and opinions about you and I, and the best place to find that is in the Bible. But the best place to find that in the bible is in [[id:20210801T063911.434147][Genesis]]. It's our prayer this year that we all come to deeper understand of who we are, why we are here, and how God fits into all of that!
