\item On October 24th is the 180 Encounter it's gonna be a blast! If you need a ride, don't fret we can take you there, but I need you to let me know soon if you're going!
\item On November the 3rd we'll be playing MISSION IMPOSSIBLE! It's a super fun game we encourage you to bring your friends but make sure to dress dark and warm! You'll need to be the sneakiest sneaker there ever was or you'll get caught!

\subsection{Intro}
\label{sec:org5ac8287}
Tonight we are going to take a break from Genesis and just spend some time talking about Giving and Generosity. So who thinks they can define generosity for me?
To help us understand this, we are going to play a quick game. \emph{one or the other for JH, both for HS}.
This is Bad Bible Translator!
HOW TO PLAY:
CHOOSE CONTESTANTS. Choose two to four contestants to come forward and play the game.
SHOW AND YELL. Show the first slide and let your contestants try to decipher the Bible story from the terrible description. The first contestant to answer the question gets a point. The contestant with the most points at the end wins!
This is Emoji Bible Characters
HOW TO PLAY:
CHOOSE CONTESTANTS. Choose two to four contestants to come forward and play this game.
SHOW AND YELL. Show the first slide, and the first contestant to yell the correct answer gets a point! The contestant with the most points at the end of the game wins.
PRO TIPS:
GAME VARIATION. You can also play in teams, dividing your group into two to four teams and have them line the back of your room. When you show a slide, a team can send a volunteer running to give the answer
So which one of you had the most points? Ok! You win a Reeses! Now, which one of you had the least points? Ok, now you win the \#1 person's Reeses that they just won!
\subsection{Process WHY}
\label{sec:orgc3437c3}
\begin{itemize}
\item So question, is it hard to have to give something away?
\item Why do you think it's so hard?
\item Do you sometimes feel good about giving stuff away?
\item Why do you think that is?
\end{itemize}
Humans feel good sometimes when we give things away, and if you listen to science they'll tell you all about how we are psychologically and chemically inclined to give so that we solidify our connection with our group, our tribe. So when we give, your tribe or your group is more likely to take care of you and thus you're more likely to survive so it's a evolutionary trait we've developed to stay alive.
If that's the case, why is hard to give sometimes? Maybe because if we horde things we think we'll survive better. But then, why does it feel good if you give to someone who isn't a part of your group or community. Why do we feel good about giving things to people who are clear across the world?
\subsection{Scripture}
\label{sec:orga3e8fbc}
We are going to process 3 passages during our night here, because for tonight, we'll stop and just think and pray about giving and generosity and why it is that God asks us to give of ourselves.
\begin{itemize}
\item \href{../bibles/webluke.org}{Luke 12:22-34}
\item Why does Jesus say that we shouldn't worry?
\item What kind of life do you think you have to have in order for you to not worry about ANYTHING!?
\end{itemize}
Guess where we might find a good answer? In GENESIS like we will be looking all year!
\begin{itemize}
\item \href{../bibles/webgen.org}{Gen 1:29-31}
\item As we scanned through this, what all has God given to us? To the animals?
\item Does God instruct us to horde things?
\item What commands does God give us?
\end{itemize}
If God's instructions are for us to be fruitful, multiply, rule, and care for the earth and grow this place, why would we ever think that maybe we ought to horde things and keep it all for ourselves?
God's instructions should lead us to believe that there will ALWAYS be enough. There is no need for us to horde, for us to gather things away from others.
Let's look real quick at some more things that God has given to us!
\begin{itemize}
\item \href{../bibles/webpsalms.org}{Psalm 104}
\end{itemize}
Remember that first video we watched, did that girl have much growing up? No. But did someone else who had more give to her? YES! And that's what God wants us to see about this world, there IS enough, it all belongs to HIM and there IS enough, we just have to be willing to give it up! If you don't think you caught that in the OCC video we showed, here is another to help that message sink in!
As we've looked at these passages and how that looks in real life, what makes you think is the ultimate gift that God gave?
\begin{itemize}
\item Life?
\item Love?
\item Jesus!
\end{itemize}
\subsection{Jesus}
\label{sec:orgb6b3b2b}
Now let's turn to \href{../bibles/webjohn.org}{John 3:16}.
\begin{itemize}
\item What did God give?
\item Why did He give the world Jesus?
\item In light of that, why do you think we should give?
\end{itemize}
God gave the biggest gift of all. There is nothing bigger than that. That's why around Christmas time we all get into the giving spirit, but even more so, that's why we ought to live lives of generosity. We give, because he gave first. Let's pray
